This is the result of the favorable investment climate in our country. This statement was made by the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, while speaking at the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent.
Pleased to note that Azerbaijan has been officially approved as the country where the ECO Clean Energy Center will be located, the head of state emphasized: “Despite Azerbaijan’s wealth in oil and gas resources, we pay special attention to the development of the renewable energy sector. The potential of renewable energy sources in Azerbaijan amounts to 37 GW of wind and solar energy onshore and 157 GW of wind energy in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.”
